CHALLENGE
Originally opened in 1986 and expanded in 1991, Le Guanahani was a privately held, independent luxury hotel in a competitive St. Bart’s luxury market. Although an island icon, it needed to tell a better story of the unique role it played on St. Bart’s as the only full-service hotel in the market - as well as its differentiated offerings from other Caribbean destinations.

Strategic Vision’s sales and marketing plan helped increase occupancy and raise average daily rates as well as expanded and deepened relationships with the critical travel advisor base. While the unfortunate events of a major hurricane in 2017 forced the resort to close for several years - the foundation we established that led to a new beginning when Rosewood Hotels & Resorts took the management agreement for the property post-pandemic and so began a new chapter for this St. Barts icon.
