Strategic Vision co-produces the Australia Tourism Summit for Tourism Australia, a government agency responsible for attracting international visitors to Australia and encouraging Australians to travel domestically, both for leisure and business.
Strategic Vision has partnered with Tourism Australia for the past six years to curate content, secure speakers, coordinate speaker logistics, marketing, assist with event production and moderate the program.
The Tourism Australia Americas team creates the Australia Tourism Summit each year as a thought leadership event and professional development opportunity for its North American distribution partners, Australian suppliers and government stakeholders. The summit seeks to examine current and future trends in business and travel with the aim of better equipping Tourism Australia’s partners to sell the destination and improve their businesses. Whether it is about products and services, trends and market intelligence, technology and innovation or debates that stimulate delegates to look at their business in a new way.Delegates include approximately 250 government officials, tour operators, airlines, media, travel advisors and other delegates from across the hospitality and tourism industries.
The format is a one-day conference that has in the past attracted speakers from the Boston Consulting Group, IBM, Oxford Economics, Airbnb, IDEO, United Airlines, American Airlines, W Hotels, Boeing, Expedia and National Geographic.
