Andrea Hutchinson has over 20 years of experience in conference, exhibition, meetings and event management specializing in the destination, hospitality, entertainment and luxury lifestyle industries.
She was the Managing Director of Network Public Relations, a marketing communications agency where she oversaw event productions for clients such as MTV Spring Break, the Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival and the Bob Marley TNT Tribute as well as hotel openings for properties such as The Braco Village and The Grand Lido resort. Her other endeavors include working with the American Express Publishing Luxury Summit, domestic and international Travel + Leisure and Executive Travel magazine advisory boards, the ASTA Global Convention, New York State Division of Tourism International Marketing group, the Green Travel Summit, the Australia Tourism Summit, Fiji Tourism North America Marketing Forum, Gartner Events IT Symposium and the Adventures in Travel Expo series of events.
Her responsibilities varied from event to event and included marketing, sponsorship sales and activation management, developing content, managing budgets, vendor negotiation, logistics, operations and producing road shows. Her marketing experience led her to work on several other initiatives where she secured and negotiated strategic partnerships and value-add opportunities for the American Express Centurion Exclusive Access program and negotiated high level partnerships and alliances for the Jamaica, Argentina and South Africa tourism boards.
